(This conference is coordinated by the APNIC IPv6 Program)
When: Tuesday, 28 February 2012
Time: 11:00 - 12:30 (UTC +5:30)
Where: Friendship Lounge 1 & 2

IPv4 address free pool reached the final /8 in April 2011. 2012 will be a critical year for IPv6 deployment. There are various initiatives which are being taken to support transition to IPv6 in the community. This panel discussion will share "cutting edge" stories on global, regional and economy level initiatives to support IPv6 deployment. The session will provide wider perspective on IPv6 deployment through "currently happening stories".

On-going IPv6 transition initiatives at an organizational level will be shared through several lightning talk presentations on Thursday (1st Feb, 14:00 - 15:30) during "Lightning Talk". Topics include what we have achieved in implementing IPv6 (especially IPv6 connectivity at the CPE end), what we have learned, and what we have monitored.
