Getting around Hong Kong
Public Transport in Hong Kong
The MTR Island Line is an underground network that services Hong Kong Island, except for the western area.
Hong Kong's tram systems are among the oldest forms of public transport in Hong Kong and serve as a major tourist attraction. Hong Kong Tramways generally run from 05:00 - 23:00 daily across the northern coastline. Peak Tramway carries commuters and tourists to the upper levels of Hong Kong Island, offering spectacular harbour and mountain views along the way.
Hong Kong Island connects to the Kowloon Peninsula via two road tunnels and two MTR tunnels. There is no bridge between the Island and mainland.
