This is an agreement made between:

Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (APRICOT),  an activity of The Asia Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC) Ltd. hereinafter referred to as “APRICOT” and:

Hereinafter referred to as “Sponsor” for the purpose of participating in and underwriting the Third Asia Pacific Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (APRICOT) to be held in Makati, Manila, Philippines during February 16 to 22 of 1998 at the Shangri La Manila Hotel.  Sponsor agrees to pay a sponsorship fee corresponding to PLATINUM, GOLD, or SILVER sponsorship levels in return for benefits  as detailed below.

CANCELLATION

The Asia Pacific Network Information Center, Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the event 30 days prior to the conference.  Conference will be canceled if the expected  registrations fall to a level which will place the conference in debt.

In the event of cancellation, APNIC, Ltd. will refund the sponsors' money, less an amount not exceeding 20% to cover expenses.

INDEMNIFICATION

Sponsor is held harmless and free of any liabilities which may arise through any litigation directed at APNIC, Ltd. or the APRICOT conference organizers by a third party as a result of this conference. 

PAYMENT DUE DATE

Payment is due immediately up acceptance of these terms. Early Bird "Diamond" Sponsor's need to have payment settled by 31 December 1997.  Payment is considered overdue and sponsorship forfeited if payment is not received by close of business, Japan Time,  1 February 1998 with reserved booth space being released to other sponsors on a waiting list.
