Route Servers
Route Servers used at Internet Exchange Points mostly provide different views to different peers
for this, the Route Servers must know what routing information to pass onto these peers
what better place to get this information than from a registry where the information is controlled by the peers themselves
peers simply register what their policy is at this exchange point, and the route servers use this information for configuration for this peer
no need to setup specific a “Route Server Policy Registration Database”
