Requirements for Roaming Support

• Authentication

  • Fred must be able to prove his identity to ISP B

• Authorization

  • Fred must receive only those capabilities and services for which ISP A has authorized him

• Accounting

  • ISP B must keep track of what resources Fred used during the session: time, speed, type of service, etc.
