Keynote: Preserving the Internet for Future Generations
Lynn St.Amour, President and CEO: Internet Society The Internet Society believes that giving every individual the opportunity to benefit from and participate in the Internet's evolution is essential. It will help create the best possible Internet and the best possible society. The Internet's sweeping impact over the years has been due to a few simple principles, including an inclusive, transparent, distributed multi-stakeholder governance model. The World Conference on International Telecommunications in December 2012 elevated conversations on Internet governance to entirely new levels and new audiences. We all have important roles to ensure the Internet advances in an open, unfettered manner. |
