Abstract This is a presentation for not only IXP operators but also for ISP operators. These days, IX is not just Layer 2 switching traffic exchange among ISPs. This presentation provides a proposal to solving the IPv4 global address exhaustion issue that ISPs have been faced. Presently, various solutions of the IPv4 global address exhaustion issue are proposed at various sites, but IXPs can provide another solution especially for small to medium-sized ISPs.
