The APRICOT 2009 Manila Logo features the majestic Philippine Eagle, one of the Philippine's national symbol, embodying upliftment as it flies to the vastness of the sky. By bringing APRICOT to Manila on February 2009, the organizers hope to further elevate the state of the Internet and its relevant technologies through education, collaboration, interaction, training, sharing, and networking as it relates to the Asia Pacific Region in general, and the Philippines, as the local host, in particular.

The logo also features the picturesque sunset along the Manila Bay, a daily treat which we hope every participant will enjoy and have memories of during their stay in the Philippines.
